Shadow Services

Shadow is the most personal service we run. Team members are allotted to the bride, the groom, the bride’s mother and father and the groom’s mother and father, as the family requires. Their brief is to stay constantly beside the person they are assigned to — so that the family can be present at their own wedding.

So the family can be guests at their own wedding.

This is the most personal thing we do. A team member is assigned to the bride, to the groom, and to each set of parents as the family requires, and their only brief is to stay with that person.

They carry what is needed before it is needed. They call the makeup artist and the photographer once the couple is ready, rather than after everyone has been kept waiting. They help with heavy lehenga and jewellery and see it stored safely, in the family’s presence. From the moment the couple walks into the venue until they check out, somebody is beside them.

Every Documented Duty

Take an allotted duty for the bride, groom, bride’s mother, bride’s father, groom’s mother or groom’s father.
Make contact with the bride and groom as soon as they enter the venue.
Make sure all of the couple’s luggage reaches the correct room.
Make sure their room is well organised with the basics — towel, brush, kettle and the rest.
Help unpack and arrange their belongings in the room.
Help the bride and groom get ready for each event.
Make sure they have breakfast, in the food court or in their room.
Take contact numbers for the makeup artist, photographers and the couple’s friends.
Call the makeup artist and photographer once the couple is ready.
Make sure food, clothes and venue arrangements are done on time or before time.
Fulfil any personal or special request of the bride or groom as quickly as possible.
Check clothes and makeup at the couple’s entry, and correct anything that is not right.
Make sure juices and starters reach the bride and groom during the function.
Carry essentials — tissue, comb, compact — so the couple never waits during photography.
Make sure lunch and dinner reach them with the fastest F&B service.
Help remove heavy lehenga and jewellery and store it safely in their presence.
Coordinate the couple’s dance performance song and entry song with the ongoing event manager.
Make sure the makeup artist arrives early on the wedding day.
Assist the makeup artist in getting the bride and groom ready.
Keep all belongings safe and secure.
Stay constantly near the bride and groom throughout the wedding.
Coordinate with logistics to keep a car ready at any moment.
Help pack the couple’s luggage and see it properly placed in the car.
